Another exciting update! A new set of photo markup tools (including vector graphics/shapes!) will be available in Fulcrum Android 3.1.9. Your Android users should see this latest update in the Play Store over the next week.
Check out this help article for more information:

Katie Briggs: Hi, thats exciting. Will they be available in Sketches too?
Katie Briggs
Ben Denison: Hi, Ben! The Markup feature is only for photos. Are you looking for the ability to annotate and sketch on a blank canvas? We understand that there is a desire for that type of sketch functionality. If you haven't already, I encourage you to vote on that feature request here: https://fulcrum.canny.io/feature-requests/p/sketch-field.

Update! With today's release of Fulcrum iOS 3.2.8, we now have a brand new set of photo markup tools including rectangles, circles, and arrows! We have implemented the same photo markup library you can find in the iOS Photos app right within the Fulcrum iOS app. Check out this help article for more information: https://help.fulcrumapp.com/en/articles/2545896-photo-annotations-on-ios
You're probably thinking - what about Android? We are currently working on an enhanced markup solution for Android as well. It will look different than the iOS solution (since we are using photo libraries native to the OS) but will also include vector graphics. So stay tuned! I will post on this thread when it is live.
I know that you have been waiting on an update on this post (and others). We are working to implement a process to update Canny consistently and frequently. We appreciate your feedback and encourage you to continue to submit it in Canny and vote on it.

HUGE need for this. Currently we recommend our users use another photo annotation app and then import those into Fulcrum (clunky). Adding annotations inside Fulcrum was a great add, just needs some icing on that cake. We use these photos to generate deliverable photo logs to clients, so needs to look as professional as possible without adding additional time on the backend.

Heath Howard: As the Director of Home Inspections at one of Fulcrum's larger customers, I second this. This is huge appearance issue with our customers, and, quite frankly something competing products delivered on 15 years ago.

I completely agree with this - hoping these, or at least arrows, can be added asap.
