Thank you for finally supporting kml/kmz as a map layer option. This works great, but only with a data connection.

Mbtiles remain the only truly offline option for a map layer. Please add a second option for offline map layers, ideally vector based, like kml/kmz. This would be superior to mbtiles in that they are lighter (generally a few mb vs gb for a large project area), easier to create and update (minutes vs hours for a larger project area), allow for better zooming in/out and not losing clarity of features.
