Generate Lat & Long with Address

I think Google (for a price) can do this reverse geocoding. How accurate it is, is another matter.
I know in Australia (in the state of NSW) the government’s Spatial Services have a reverse geocoding API which returns the co-ordinates at the centroid of the property. We have implemented it using the Data Events feature.

This is one of the biggest things we have been hoping will happen for our use case. As we receive calls from the police or the public, a new "job" is created with the details of it in an app. This always will have some form of an address (usually a venue in town). Currently it's too time consuming to duplicate the work of selecting a place on the map, then also entering the address in the field of the job's record - but if we could enter the address as usual in the form, and have that generate a lat/lot for the record's property, we could fully utilise the map functionality and see where all our current jobs are visually.
