Custom print to PDF (remove fields from export)

When I print a record to PDF, the full list of fields and photos are included in the export. It would be better to be able to export only the fields I would like to deliver to the client without building my own export tool.
My idea is to add it in the developer options for each field like the read only option. A check box (default to yes) 'Include in PDF Export'
My team uses a lot of fields only for QA and data events that I don't want exported to pdf.

Fulcrum's new Report Builder feature addresses this and adds a lot of new functionality: https://www.fulcrumapp.com/blog/new-basic-and-advanced-reports/.

I had a similar complaint where they allowed all fields to be exported in the past. That appears to no longer be an issue; however, in this case I believe they are wanting to disable fields from being exported to the pdf. I know hiding the field can prevent its data from being in the pdf but they may want to collect in the app but only export certain data. I like the concept of just disabling fields from the pdf export. I have made a similar request to toggle off fields inside the app. A switch on the field tab. Toggle it off from the records view, another toggle off for pdf view, and a place to specify column letter preference for excel exports.
Limiting both pdf view and record content at a heightened admin level in the app prevents erroneous or sensitive data from leaving through the avenue of basic users.

Hi, I'm sure it's hard to get things done at the moment due to C-19, but can you please make swifter progress on these and other key requests which people (including us) have been requesting for quite some time?
It's all very well adding new fancy charts at login and the like, but frankly I couldn't give a monkeys about those.
This feature by contrast would be extremely helpful. The lack of this feature adds to our workload, and, because we can only edit reports so that they are fit for client at desktop, limits the usefulness of fulcrum as a 'day to day' worktool. We want to report direct to client from fulcrum, but the current .pdf reports are clumsy and hard to use.

Bryan McBride: My organization is looking forward to using this feature. Is there a date/month/season we could look for this feature to be available?
Bryan McBride
Amanda Bybee: Thanks for the feedback! Expect to see something big in the next month or so!

Bryan McBride: Hey Bryan, Do you have an updated timeline for this? I would love to use this feature rather than building a new app!

We've got some major updates planned for PDF reports that should address your request- and a whole lot more!

Bryan McBride: Hi Bryan. It would be GREAT if we could use both simple and advanced editors on the same report. I use the advanced report for some basic functionality that is missing from basic- and there are some basic functions that I am unable to do in the advanced report.
